Speedy handle covers

I was very skeptical about getting these handle covers for my speedy 35. But staying in a tropical country where the temperature averages 35 degrees and when it rains it pours, and seeing what happened to my friends Palermo after the rain. 😓😓. I ordered a pair..
Well here they are getting ready for a day at work,

I think these are great for protection but would definitely use it without when you can! Perfect for rainy days!

It has been very very hot and humid here ( i am in Malaysia) .. dont plan to use them all the time ..cos i love the leather handles too!!

I definitely think it's a good idea for hot and humid days! I like how they're so subtle too, most of them have big cherries hanging off or frills etc

They look nice, but from the pics they don't protect the tab part? Won't those parts get rained on?? : ( And how do we encourage the 'even' tanning of handle and tab part?

When it rains heavily i have a bag to put the speedy in... But tha bag doesnt have 'handles'..so the handles get wet easier... These covers are zippered closure so its real easy to put on and take off!!☺️
I have a speedy de which solves all these problems but have always wanted a mono as its such a classic!!
