Speedy Damier Ebene or in Black Empriente?

This is very subjective and you’ll get a lot of opinions. Black empreinte is classy and easy to wear in my opinion. I also generally like leather over canvas. I had the damier ebene speedy and sold it, I just got so bored with the print.
I have recently bought the Speedy 25 Empriente Black - the leather is Devine such a beautiful bag!
Speedy Ebene. I nver tired on the Empriente, but the canvas is light and fun to wear.
Adoring both types of material, I vote for Damier Ebene. It has a much better price point and imo is more carefree (as you don’t need to worry about accidentially scratching the bag or rubbing off the corners). Additionally, as it’s getting more difficult to get classic canvas pieces whereas leather is readily available, it might be better to jump on the canvas speedy sooner than later. Hope that helps.

I would wait for the new DE 20 Speedy (if that size works for you). There are so many black bags, but to me DE is a typical LV classic, it's carefree and lightweight. But only you can decide, which one makes your heart sing and works for you? That's the one I would go for. Good luck with your decision !

I have just got the Speedy 25b empreinte as an early Xmas present. I have owned the 25b in DE and mono in the past but sold them, even though I do love the bag. It is my favourite size of Speedy. I think ultimately I am now into more discreet LV when it comes to medium size bags and this generally means the non-canvas items. I love empreinte leather and think it really elevates the Speedy bag. I still prefer mono and de for smaller bags or SLGs but really really love the empriente Speedy. I also ordered the de 20b Speedy recently but returned it as it was just too small and I felt it looked like a novelty bag on me (I’m 5’9 and over 40). I don’t believe in age dictating bag choices at all but, for me, I think I am done with the trendy, influencer type styles and this includes mini sizes of bags that were originally bigger.
Is this Speedy 20 or 25? I think speedy 20 in Emp leather is so cute but I would go with DE for Speedy 25
