Is it really too big for everyday use? Do you only use yours as a luggage piece?

I'm so tempted to buy one in the monogram. I just like how classic it looks.

Here are some pictures I found of Monica Cruz with hers, but obviously she is at the airport...

The speedy 40 is indeed a big bag but I say if you love it...go for it!!!! I think its probably light enough to be used as an everyday bag. Do you plan on filling it up? :)

UGH! I posted a reply and it didn't go through. I was going to say that I am having a really hard time deciding between the 35 and the 40...

I also wanted to mention that I am all prepared to get the speedy whichever one because I already bought a large sized luggage tag from Louis Vuitton and even got it hot stamped with my initials recently :lolots::nuts::woot::greengrin:

I definitely won't fill it up, I'm not a person that carries EVERYTHING with them, often I actually have trouble deciding what is "worth" bringing with me for the day... so I tend to always minimize what I'm carrying.

Well I just recently purchased a speedy 35 and can honestly say I LOOOVE IT!!! I do not fill my bags either. Just like the extra room because I have kids and it seems like every time we are out they always say " Mom put this in your purse" ..lol. I got mine heatstamped :D Your luggage tag will look great on either size. Depending on your height , I am sure you can rock the 40 if you wanted to. I am only 5'1 and got the 35 so I am sure you are taller than me ..lol. Most women are.

aww! that was cute lol

May go for the 40 because I would like the option of carrying it as a travel bag and it could get away as a purse, plus I have another longchamp that could be considered a carry on as well...

If you're unsure you may want to visit an LV boutique and try both the 35 and 40. Some bags look different- bigger or smaller- in real life, and with LV's strict return/exchange policy you wouldn't want to run into problems if it wasn't right for you. :okay:

They still do. You were most likely looking at a USA made one, those are no longer stamped and have a cloth tag inside that say Made in USA. The France and Spain made bags will still be stamped.
