speedy 30 monogram or damier????

I'm going to purchase my first and only LV bag speedy 30. I don't think I will get more in the future because they are quite pricey for me.

I like the monogram but I'm afraid that the vacheta will turn dark soon. I'd like to use it a lot. How long does the vacheta stay "acceptable" and not filthy?
Where I live I only see fakes so I'm afraid everybody will thing I'm carrying a fake, although I know it's authentic. Here the best type of bag everybody carries Carolina Herrera. I have some myself.

I also like the damier and it's brown handles do not need care. Would it last long in good condition?

If you are already worried about vachetta, get the Damier.

Beside the vacheta issue, I would go for Monogram since it is the 1st LV. Monogram is timeless and can dress it up or down.
