Recently, the Empreinte Speedy 25 caught my eye.

Below are my considerations for the two colors:

Bicolor -
It’s very unique with two different colors on same Empreinte leather.
It’s a statement piece (ie, loud).
It’s less maintenance than Turtledove (since it’s dark color).
Its slightly costlier than Turtledove.

Turtledove -
It’s very neutral color that goes well with everything one wears.
It’s light-color bag, means higher chance of color transfer from clothings (I would mostly carry the bag crossbody style).
It’s slightly cheaper than bicolor.

I would like to seek some valuable opinions about the two type of colors if you own either or both of them in any other items and how you find your color so far, especially if I have yet to list out for any considerations yet.

Depends on your style! Both are fab. If you trend toward classic neutrals, the bicolor is a bold but refined "pop." The turtledove is a neutral - I own a similar color bag (Givenchy soft antigona in beige) - versatile and pre-treated with Collonil with no issues but I do baby it a TON because I'm worried. I might go for the bicolor - knock it out of the park!

Hmm, I actually have 3 different black bags from LV - black Coussin pm, black neo Alma BB and black maxi multi Pochette.
Two DE - speedy B 25 and Iena MM.
1 black mini Lin speedy B 30 (ok, considered black too).
I guess my style is muted, not too loud kind. Turtledove seems more like mor style only it’s not black. I’m slightly worried about dirtying it. About a month of occasional using my maxi multi pochette, I had already stained the round coin pouch with ink on the outside canvas.

I just love the turtledove Empreinte. Also I think the bicolour is better on small pieces, like a double zip pochette or Felicie, because it’s a bit less in your face.
Let us know what you decide! :)
