Speedy 20 - Does it soften/sag?

Hi, anyone that has had a speedy 20 for a minute…does it sag at all with use and does the canvas soften? I love love love the look of the 20 but I also love the sag of the 25 (no organizer of course). Does the 20 ever soften enough to have a little sag? Thx everyone! 🥰

I've had mine just over a year, love and wear A LOT but can't say it has sagged or softened. Especially compared to my 20yo speedy 30. Highly recommend though! It's the only LV I use consistently these days.

My 20s don't "sag". They're a bit narrower on the sides in comparison to my 25. The 20 when filled with belongings doesn't leave much space for the sagging to occur.

ive had mine for 6 months and stuff it all the time. i have not noticed any sagging either.

I’m so torn between the 20 and 25. Both in DE! I love the sag the 25 gives but the 20 is a perfect every day size and I don’t carry much. 😫

Also, do your tabs on the side stick out or have they curled with use?

No. It’s too small to sag unless you’re putting a paper weight in it. No the tabs don’t curl. I would get the 25 if you prioritize the sag.

I went to my local LV in Ohio and exchanged the de speedy 20 bag I received from LV online. One of the side tabs would stick out a lot further than the other side and it really bothered my OCD. Now, when wearing crossbody, both side tags stick out a little but the exact same amount and I am soooo much happier now! I just couldn’t love the bag with the side tabs being different and one stuck out about a cm more than the other so it’s all I could focus on. Thank you everyone for your comments above! Wow 🤩 I like the LV speedy 20 DE so much. Would look forward to your pictures. Though I cannot have it , I can always drool over those whom bought it. It’s really a dream bag.

This is my first time wearing her so I’ll let you know how it goes. On my way to Vegas (for work, not fun). She doesn’t collapse but fit fine at the top part of my book bag.

Like everyone else, I’ve had my 20 for awhile, and it doesn’t sag at all. I use a very thin felt liner so there’s no structure to it. And FWIW I have the leather 20 Nanogram speedy and it doesn’t sag either. And the tabs don’t curl. The 20 in DE sounds lovely!

If you love the softened look, you may want to consider a leather version of the speedy instead of the canvas? I have both and the leather versions definitely soften more. My nanogram version is lambskin and the sides have definitely slacked but I would not go so far as to say that it sags. My SLGs fill the bag perfectly without any liners or shapers so it naturally kind of keeps the bottom from sagging. Now if I only carry a heavy round marble weighing in the bottom centre then I suppose I could create the sag artificially but that is not realistic.

Pros: Took her out on her maiden voyage today in Las Vegas! She did wonderful and is the perfect size. I purchased the crossbody strap from Amazon and it was super comfortable and matched close enough for me for $19. I am not a fan of the guitar strap it comes with. Holds more than you think too!

Con: if you leave the bag unzipped while carrying, then the zipper pull gets stuck behind the leather tab on the side and you have to dig them out. (Last pic) This is my ONLY complaint!

The canvas on my new speedy 20 feels much thicker than the canvas on my speedy 30 from 2018. I think that also reduces sag.
