Specific questions about mansur gavriel saffiano

So I thought I'd open a new thread because it takes forever to go through all of the posts on the other one and I wanted to keep this one specific to saffiano.
I just had mine delivered today. I love the royal interior! The saffiano is very stiff. Does it soften at all with time? Would,love some opinions from all of you about what you think about The saffiano? In general I know that these bags don't soften at all. So would love some thoughts from those of you who own the bag in saffiano, or anyone who has any opinions about it at all.

I don't think any of the leathers on these bags will soften...but that's what I like. Structure!
I don't own a MG saffiano bag but I own a couple Prada saffiano bags...wear like iron.

Does the saffiano feel a bit plasticky? I'm so used to soft boho type bags but I love the look of this. Maybe it takes time to get used to a new type of material.
