Question - I heard that the Madison Ave store no longer placed special orders. Hard to believe this is true. Any visibility on this? Also - is the "bad leather smell" problem over? Has anyone bought a bag recently (past month) that had a problem.

^ I'm not under the impression that H Madison has changed anything with respect to special orders. I was there fairly recently, not to place an SO, but I had a good chat with the person that I work with (G.G.) and when the subject of SOs came up he didn't say anything about a change of policy just that they are stricter now about design guidelines and there are more limitations with regards to combos.
