Thank you for all the helpful advice. I do like the color so I am 60% sure I will keep it. There are no flaws but it is the lining holding me back. Until I remind myself of the price. I will try packing it for return and see what happens. Does the Blair have a normal lining? I am contemplating that one as a replacement or last bag of the year.
LID: The Blair has the normal red lining. I just checked to be sure. I like the Blair
very much... I like the style and the size and of course the price was great.
I liked the Blair enough to buy more than 1 color. 😁 I think the bone is stunning.
I also love the navy, the black, and the dark brown. I didn't buy all of them.

Just know that it is a very structured bag, so you won't get the feel of soft leather.
It's typical pebbled leather from Dooney. The leather and the bag may soften
and slouch over time. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Think of a Hermes Birkin... some ladies want theirs to soften and slouch,
others use handbag liners to preserve the shape.

Also the Blair bag is pretty large... both the
depth of the base as well as the other dimensions. That means the Blair is a
little heavy. None of that is a problem, from my perspective.

But if you are comparing it to the pebble/Florentine satchel design,
the Blair is a different handbag. Think more of an Alto bag, clean lines, structured, minimal hardware. but large and in pebbled leather.

The other thing I will mention is that the getting into the interior zipper pocket and front wall slip pockets requires you to reach under the zip top which is recessed from the
top of the bag. I've encountered this on other Dooney designs with recessed top zips.
It can be annoying if you are in a rush.

The shoulder (only) strap is removeable. It is on the thinner side. I hand carry the Blair.
I think it's too big to use cross body, even if you used a longer strap than the
one that comes with the bag. The shoulder strap attachment is with D rings at the ends of the top flap of the bag, not on the sides. And the shoulder strap attaches with buckles,
not dog clips. The D rings are small, so if you wanted to substitute another strap, it
can't have big clips.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions.
