Spanx vs. Assets brand?

Anyone tried both Spanx and Assets?

I have spanx and love them and have heard they are much better than the ones by the same designer at Target.

My mom just bought Assets and heard they are exactly the same for 1/3-1/2 the price.

What are your thoughts if you have tried them both?

I've been wondering the same thing. I read a blog that said that Assets were less comfortable, but a friend told me that they were the same so I only own Assets. I didn't feel like they gave me any compression -- they were just light tights that didn't go all the way down. I'm about to buy a pair of spanx and will see how they compare.
