I’m quite obsessed with the Gate line. I think I might be getting a small Gate for my birthday.
Also, I just discovered the Gate tote in the larger size that I ordered from a resale site. It’s so beautiful! The larger size seems to be discontinued and the nano & small are too small.

I visited Loewe's boutique in front of Spanish Steps last week and sadly, they only had the mini gate with jacquard strap displayed. I hope they're not planning to discontinue this line

In my area, I have only ever seen one Gate bag in the wild and I would venture to say 95% of people are unaware of the brand. However, it does seem to be that the Gate and the Puzzle are the bulk of their bag sales. I don’t think it’s at risk or discontinuation? That would be sad.
They really shouldn't discontinue the Gate line, but if you check their social media pages and website, it seems they're refraining from featuring / highlighting the line. Current highlights from what I noticed are the Goya, Hammock, Flamenco, and of course the Puzzle. Been a while since the last time they posted about the Gate

Honestly Loewe is my favorite brand for the style and quality of the leather. I have a few pieces of LV taurillon and Hermès in chevre and all my Loewe pieces are equal or better!
