Just got back from Kona, Big Island, Hawaii and got some souvenirs from Tiffany: Elsa Peretti Spilt Ring, Hardware long pendant necklace and T Smile necklace. Prices were so much better than back home with the low sales tax and reduced island prices! I saved alot! Service was wonderful!

If I'm not mistaken, Hawaii luxury goods often considered part of the Asia market and as such, may have different prices. And yes they do have lower sales tax, which is surprising bc everything else there typically more expensive! Lol.

When i was there earlier this year, I was advised of discounts of 10% at YSL and I think higher (maybe 15 or 20%) at Bottega. LV seemed to be item dependant and not as much on bag i was considering (maybe 2-5%), Gucci told me 10% but only on certain items (don't recall exactly what but I think it was maybe handbags but not clothes or something like that).

Good to know about the jewelry too!
