I don't think an arrest alone is sufficient to warrant taking custody from TR. She is better of waiting until the criminal case is done and he is convicted. If she moves now and he is acquitted, you can bet he will make her pay.
Kathryn has a fine line to walk. IMO.
Children's safety is obviously #1 so if either parent is declared incompetent, the children may become wards of the state.
If KD loses TR's support that puts additional stress on her and her yet-very-young sobriety. It's unknown how much he finances but she doesn’t seem too concerned abt life's basics. We know he does provide custodial relief, aka time off. And, I'm guessing he's easily a mark for Kathryn to squeeze additional monies from for extras too.
So, KD needs to baby her sobriety in order to remain a viable parent. And handle TR w velvet gloves bc what affects him, affects her, and her chidren.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her. Hopefully, she'll regularly attend meetings, have good sponsors, and love herself. Team Kathryn!

Kathryn just filed for a change to her custody agreement. Thomas's preliminary hearing is on Nov. 5th.

On a related note; his lawyer was killed in a plane crash back in October. As obnoxious as Thomas is, RIP to his lawyer.

I just read that this lawyer used to travel around the country to play polo with TR. When he died, he was traveling to play polo and was with his mistress. He left behind a wife and autistic child, and no life insurance -- with unpaid mortgage, other bills and taxes.
OMG how sad for the wife and child. I read that his girlfriend died in the crash with him, but I didn't know he was still married.
You are right, 'birds of a feather' indeed.
