Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 31 announces engagement to boyfriend Cutter Dykstra, 23, and shows off her sparkly diamond ring
The Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler is engaged to her boyfriend, Washington Nationals baseballer Cutter Dykstra.
The 31-year-old actress tweeted the happy news to her fans on Monday, and showed off her sparkling diamond engagement ring in an accompanying snap of the happy couple.
The actress appears over the moon in the image, which sees her flashing the giant jewel as she puts her left hand up to her gasping face.
In the photograph, Cutter, 23, appears beside her, grinning from ear to ear.
'So this just happened . . . ' Sigler wrote in an accompanying caption.
Cutter also posted the same photograph on his own Twitter account, writing 'She said yes!!'
A representative for the actress confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly.
Sources told the magazine that the brunette star is ecstatic and is 'on cloud nine'.
'Jamie couldn't be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her,' an insider said.
'Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends.'
Dykstra, who is the son of New York Mets star Lenny Dykstra, and Sigler started dating a year ago and made their romance public in March 2012.
This will be the second marriage for the actress - The Entourage star was previously married to manager A.J. DiScala for two years.
She also dated her Entourage co-star Jerry Ferrara for one year before dating football star Mark Sanchez.
