Here are my two favorite "therapy" songs :o)

Justin Timberlake "Never Again" - It's just a very clean, direct, and emotional song which makes me love it even more.

Kelly Clarkson "Behind These Hazel Eyes" - oh so angry = oh so perfect ;)

does anyone know the song. i know this is weird but it goes something like. ( its slow and old)

hhahah iknow its not alot to go one but maybe u guys will get it..

Same here! I switched to books on CD. It's kind of funny, but it seems like when I am more upset I tend to listen to more murder/mysteries. Maybe that's more scary than funny....:shocked:

When I need an instant "feel better" -don´t laugh at me, I never told anyone- I put Abba "Abba Gold", sometimes it´s like the soundtrack of my life.....
When I need to think over these painfull things I put :
The Cardigans "Erase and Rewind" , and the whole Gran Turismo album
Greenday "Boulevard of broken dreams
Massive Attack "man next door" over and over again....

It was September 11. I was absolutely BEDRAGGLED by the end of the day. I was SICK of seeing video clips of the Twin Towers falling. I was SICK of worrying about my dad (in my irrational fear, I thought if they were attacking government buildings, and if Lincoln Lab was considered a government building . . . you know where this is going . . . ). I was REALLY missing my grandmother who died earlier that summer. I went back to my dorm and sat outside on the grass, listening to music.

When Proud by Heather Small started, I lay back in the grass. There were clouds, but there were no birds in the sky that day. All of a sudden, when the song climaxed into the chorus, it seemed like a million little birds flew over my head. (Chickadees, or something. I'm normally afraid of big birds, but these were okay.) It seemed like my grandmother sent those birds to me to somehow tell me everything was going to be all right.

Anouk's Michel (a Dutch singer), the video is very simple but the words were right on when it was the end of my 6-year relationship and found out he was with her. It is an old song and I have moved on and married now, but everytime I hear this song, it brings me back to the time then. I remember I played this song and sang my heart out over and over again. It helped especially when you can't cry but just have this pain in your heart and lump in your throat. It might not apply to you, it's a nice song nevertheless.
