I've mentioned I'd love the 50th anniversary lapis yg pave bracelet on some of my wishlists here, but I knew it would be next to impossible to get since they only made a limited amount of them. I had asked SAs in a couple of locations in the US, and the last answer was that there were no more in the US. I just love lapis and turquoise, and I knew this likely would be my last chance to get the lapis. I honestly didn't think it was possible, so I didn't think about it seriously.

But one day earlier this month, a very sweet friend emailed me and told me that she knew where one was, and she could connect me with her SA if I was interested! She had noticed my love for lapis and remembered! So I contacted the SA in Paris, and after seeing pictures, I was thrilled to order the bracelet!!! It came last night, and I took a few pictures today! You can see that the color varies a lot depending on the lighting. The outdoor pictures show a more vivid color than I actually see. It's a rich deep royal blue in reality, and some of the pictures show that. My lapis motifs are evenly colored, but because they are very polished, sometimes you can see a reflection in them or fingerprints (so please excuse those in my pics because the motifs looked clean when I took the pictures!). Very close up I can see some extremely tiny white or gold dots that look like the starry night sky.

So a HUGE thank you  to my friend, and also to her friend who connected her with Place Vendome first! I met her friend here quite by accident, and we realized the common connection! Thankful to have friends who share a common love for VCA and fine jewelry!

Now a few pictures!

That's great news! May I know how they processed the VAT refund and were you charged any customs fees? TIA!

They removed the VAT tax so I paid the amount with that subtracted. Then I had to pay duty once they shipped the item. The duty for the US is less than the VAT, thankfully! The shipping company (which was UPS in my case) notifies you that there is duty that has to be paid for the item to be delivered.

Thank you again for the details! Time to contact my Paris SA lol
Congrats on such a beauty and glad to be your twin too!
