  1. Help, my skin is a flaky/dry mess. Can you suggest something that can help it, hopefully from a pharmacy store. Thank you!
  2. Clinique moisture surge or pur soak it up, plus a good moisturizing cream on top.
  3. From a natural health food store a nourishing oil...or look for some LaRoche Posay products
  4. I am EXTREMELY dry and I use the Eucerin line. Lotion has an SPF 30 and is very moisturizing. You can also use the Eucerin cream as an under eye moisturizer if needed. Also easy to find and inexpensive😉
  5. Peter Thomas Roth dry oil
  6. I am obsessed with Maracuja oil from TARTE. Not oily at all, it just absorbs in your skin pleasantly.

Have you tried getting a microdermabrasion to rid off the dry skin.
    Good luck.
  7. Try spraying a moisturizing toner on - like rosewater+glycerin - and applying your moisturizer to your damp skin - that's what I do and it helps.

For drugstore moisturizers ... LRP toleraine is not bad. I also like hydraluron serum, and some of the Eucerin moisturizers with urea in them.

ETA: if you find that you're sensitive to silicones (and I am), Embryollise Lait Creme Concentre is quite good as well - not available easily in many countries though.

  8. If your skin is not sensitive, I would try Angel Face Botanicals, Pumpkin renewal smoothing antioxidant peel. I get patches of dry skin and nothing will get rid of them. A skin specialist told me about this stuff and I just ordered my second jar of it. You can find the company online or on Etsy, it's all organic stuff. I was told it's one step under a chemical peel, it certainly tingles when it's on and it gets rid of my flakies.
  9. My skin is usually normal but this winter it was extremely dry. I used my usual moisturizer and added 2 drops of argan oil from josie maran each time . It helped me a lot w dry skin.
  10. Josie Marian argan oil milk!'
  11. My skin gets flaky, so what I do is a mild (for daily use) or more grainy (for weekly use) face scrub before bedtime. After that, I use a rich moisturizer. Looks great the next morning, and I have no troubles with concealer/foundation!
  12. Thank you for your suggestions, I will look into them
  13. Vaseline! Put it on when you go to bed. The cheapest most effective moisturizer I've ever used.
  14. Exfoliate at night or day for rid some of that dry skin. Then use CeraVe PM moisturizer because it has hyaluronic acid which binds moisture into your skin and niacinamide. It's not expensive but should help you if you use it everyday and its fragrance free.
  15. This!! Vaseline is my cure-all!
