Someone help identifying this style? (14K Italy Yellow Gold chain)

(Note: Ignore the pearl. I got it when I was a little kid and simply liked how it looked with the necklace chain, lol.)

A year ago, I took the chain to a pawn shop and the guy said it was authentic Yellow. He offered $50, but said I could probably get at least $250 for it.

I can’t remember anything else he said, unfortunately...

I need a tiny bit more money to fund my cosmetic surgery next month, so I’m tossing everything I can find on OfferUp. I feel bad claiming it’s authentic when I can’t provide appraisal papers (I did not pay for the official papers), or even identify the style of chain?

It doesn’t match any of the chain styles. I think he said it was s-link? It looks similar to flat snake, but that’s not it.

I also can’t find many images of it online. In fact, I’ve only found two chains that are this same style. But both of them have different lengths/weights listed under their product details.

The stamping shows it’s 14k and yes, called s-link. To get a realistic idea of its value, you’d need to have it weighed, and depends if someone will pay for the chain as is or if they’re going to buy it for gold scrap. I took a bunch of old gold jewelry to a gold buyer recently, and guessing based on that and current gold prices, you could maybe get $150-250 for it.

Ahhhh yessss.... This chain takes me down memory lane. I had a chain just like this back in the 80's. We called it a " S " chain due to the s pattern. I loved it. I wish I knew what happened to it :confused1:
