Solutions to small forehead?

I know forehead implant is a thing, but I feel like I need more distance between eyebrows and hairline from a frontal viewpoint, not just profile (and I think forehead implants just make the forehead a nicer shape? Mine is slanted.) What else can be done to improve the space? Will a forehead lift do that or make it worse? Is hairline reduction recommended?

An endoscopic brow lift would only raise the hairline by a minuscule amount. Depending on the amount of projection added from forehead augmentation, you may get the illusion of a larger forehead from the front. You could laser the hair to permanently raise/contour your hairline but that'd be a long term commitment to get your hair lasered. Surgically lifting will leave scarring that may show when your hairline eventually recedes. You'd have to consult with the surgeon to see if it'd be worth it to raise your hairline.

Personally I think a change in haircut and hairstyle can honestly do wonders to help either “open up” the face, slim it down, etc. and help emphasize or de-emphasize any features someone likes or dislikes.

But if you want to go the surgical route, as above, a surgical consultation (and to be better, multiple consultations) is a must.

Thank you for your advice! The one i’m considering is the forehead lift with endotine, since I’m hoping it will give more space between the brows and eyes. Maybe raise the hairline a bit, but as you said, it will only have minuscule influence in addressing that. If I am interested in forehead augmentation, then which procedure should be done first? Or can they be done concurrently?

This is great advice and often is overlooked, thank you! I am familiar with “high cranial top” styles that create the impression of a larger (cuter) head by building a taller upper third. I think also contributing to my harmony imbalance, is that my lower third is quite heavy. Plus my brows are very straight, and eyes are on the close-set side. So it makes my upper third of the face look stuffy. I might try to address the jaw and chin + create a hair routine before jumping into any procedure!

No problem! I can only speak in general because I don't know what you look like and what your desired outcome is but if you plan on inserting a silicone implant, you may not be able to do the forehead lift depending on skin elasticity/thickness. If the height of your forehead is your main concern, the potential 1-3mm height increase from the forehead lift might be enough to satisfy you. It's possible you can get both, either separately or simultaneously but it may not be advised depending on your situation. Depending on the surgeon, they'll let you know what they can and can't do and will most likely give other solutions to your issue. I will say though, raising your hairline is quite uncommon so be prepared to be turned away by some surgeons.

Very good to know, thank you! :) Now that you mention it, would you feel comfortable if I PM’ed you here or on KKT pics with my specific concerns? Then it might be more to go off of. (If not I understand!)

Electrolysis and laser to the hairline to push it back!! Some kpop idols have done it like Suzy and Joy from Red Velvet as well as old hollywood actresses like Rita Hayworth and Marilyn Monroe. I know it's done in korea but not sure about which clinics. If anyone knows, that'd be great. It's something I'm also interested in as I have a short and narrow forehead

I did forehead electrolysis and still have ongoing appointments. It does higher up the forehead but to be honest I was only enthusiast at the beginning. Is a visible difference, but I'm not sure if it makes me more beautiful. Anyway, is achievable if you have patience and find some local professional willing to help.

Hi, where are you doing this? What clinic? I'm interested in it as well

I'm from Eastern Europe, paid around 15-20 euros per session, did 3 and is needed around 8-10 sessions, each 6-8 weeks. I went to an electrolisys specialist in my area and asked her to remove some of the forehead hair, that I previously shaved in a (failed) attempt to remove it with IPL light at home. It was mostly the middle of the forehead, around 1.5 cm, my hair grows in a V shape and I wanted more of a round shape, just be aware that, initially, it may look a bit weird without baby hairs that usually grows in the area, and also, hairs will regrow on the forehead randomly, depending if the root was distroyed or not (and is not possible to distroy all of them in the same appointment, each thread has different stage at a given time). This is why more sessions are needed.

As an unrelated side note, I was looking for a Kim Kardashian/ J Lopez type of hairline, I also used mynoxidil previously on the sides of the forehead to grow hair, and I'm pleased with the results, now my forehead is almost the way I wanted, instead of that V thing I had (it was like Leonardo di Caprio hairline)

Thank you for sharing your experience! Are you comfortable displaying before & after pictures? If not I understand! Also, I'm worried about this process contributing to early hairline recession. Is that something I should be concerned about as a potential side effect? One side of my hairline is less dense than the other, and I'm wondering whether the procedure will worsen or maybe even help it?

@angelascatsprinkles
I don't really know if hairline recession would be an issue, right now I'm in the process of "making of" and no other hairs were affected, except the ones targeted. I don't think my electrolysis specilist knows, as forehead is not a procedure that she usually does.
One side of my hairline is less dense naturally (the one on the after Minoxidyl photo), and after months of Minoxidyl, I did managed to grow hair, but not as much as on the other side. But I keep trying, looks okey and I'm pleased with it.
So here are some super edited photos that I'm not really good of )
Oh and the before photos the sides of my forehead still has some grown hair, there are around 5 months after Hair supplements. I've been using hair supplements for 1,5 years now, with breaks. It may affect the electrolisys? I just try not to use them 2-3 weeks after the sessions. There is some grown hair in the middle, between sessions (The after pictures are made today).
It is also important for me to have a certain hair density (so I'm still using supplements), and also "making of" a more feminine forehead.
