Hi!

I am searching for a plain gold link bracelet that should be solid 18k gold. Most bracelets I see are under 8g which just feels flimsy. Also Cartier Santos feels hollow. Do you know of anything in this style?

It should have a lobster clasp.

Thanks a lot in advance!

I have had this bracelet in the 6mm link size for a while and find it just right. The integrated clasp feels secure, and I never have issues with it coming loose. The bracelet is easy to put on and take off but also doesn't really show the clasp when the bracelet moves around, since it is disguised as a link: https://www.davidyurman.com/womens/...racelet-in-18k-yellow-gold-6mm-B13709+88.html

They also make a bigger/thicker 11mm link version that would be more substantial: https://www.davidyurman.com/womens/...acelet-in-18k-yellow-gold-11mm-B13712+88.html

I only have experience with BR’s estate pieces which are heavy, solid, well made. Some of her chain bracelets are hollow, some are not. Thee hollow ones are less costly

I have a foundrae oversized mixed clip necklace and it is incredibly solid, heavy, and well made.
I think it’s best to try on bc the website does not always show the designs to the best advantage.
Foundrae is, IMO, more solid and heavy than David Yurman, but usually more expensive.

I’m not a Tiffany person, but stylistically, it may suit.

Agree with @MillStream that Verdura makes the classic curb link, which drapes on the wrist.
Seaman Schepps and other brands make similar ones, without the same organic fit.
But, these are considerably more expensive. IMO, they aren’t quite the open chain link type that

I’m also a fan of Vhernier, mentioned by @Love Of My Life.
I believe they reopened in NYC (they closed during covid) and they are also carried by Bergdorfs

ETA: I also recommend your local, trusted, independent jeweler :)

Vhernier does a classic looking Mon Jeu link bracelet with a very interesting clasp which is
part of the link, it may or may not be to your liking but it is a beautifully crafted bracelet, JMO

This looks absolutely great, but I need something low key I can wear everyday. I am in my 30s and am typing all day. The bracelet should be about 5 mm wide and fit to my casual style. This also rules out Mene because of the softness and clasp unfortunately.

David Miami and David Yurman I will take a look at, thanks a lot to everyone

I love Pomellato. It’s superb quality and flies under the radar. Did you try the smaller Iconica? It’s 18k rose gold like most of their pieces but it’s a very subtle rose. It’s very inexpensive for Pomellato as well.
