So I sold a Pottery Barn gift card on ebay two days ago. I emailed the buyer asking when they were planning on paying because I hadnt heard anything since the auction ended, and she just wrote back asking for the number on the card so that she can verify the balance and then she would pay.
This doesnt sit well with me. #1 - I just sold another card before this one and already received positive feedback, which I pointed out to this buyer. #2 - I had to contact her. She should have contacted me with any requests. #3 - She should have made such a request BEFORE bidding AND winning my auction.
I am leary of giving the number with all the scammers out there. You never know what they can do. Especially because I just sold another card last week and it went smoothly, buyer paid next day, I sent card same day, and buyer left me good feed back saying the card as described and fast shipping. I have no bad feedback.
So I've replied to this seller letting her know my concerns, but haven't heard back. Any advice????
