I like her imaginative designs but those prices are silly.

The blue bird ring is in tradition of ancient Middle Eastern/Persian jewellery design, but a beautiful re-working of the classic.

I agree some pieces are different and whimsical like the bird ring, but I don't get the carrot one!? Personally, I prefer Victoire de Castellane for Dior Joaillerie.

I can't get excited about her - IMHO she doesn't compare with JAR. I was lucky enough to see the JAR exhibition at London's Somerset House some years ago and I occasionally open the hardback catalogue and just drool over his astonishing work.

Now your talking (and I only own a catalogue )

My favourite for cool British jewellery is Stephen Webster

Nothing touches Elizabeth Gage, her designs fuse cool/sophisticated, traditional/modern

A fantastic, fabulous, amazing (Lebanese) design house is Tabbah :yahoo: and their more 'casual' range is called Copacabana. I would love a snake bangle :p

Thanks for all the links papertiger. Lots of eye candy!

I wanted to add Lydia Courteille has beautiful works too.

My absolute pleasure :welcome:

May I return the thanks for 'turning me on' to Lydia Courteille :flowers: - So thrilled to see such beautiful work
