Hey everyone! I noticed the glazing on my disco strap is starting to crack. Has anyone had the strap repaired or replaced? It’s a discontinued color and I’m nervous they won’t be able to fix it.

Mine is still OK (2016)

I have had the glazing on a strap (half-moon) from 1987 repaired though!

Best to ask Gucci first. They reserve leather for a few years so see what they say, and if it's only the resin glaze peeling they will only have to re-paint the edges again.

Thank you! I’m waiting for them to get back to me via email. If not I’ll have to see if my local store will take the repair.

Oh no that’s not good! Lol. Gucci reglazed my strap and charged $60. I’m not Sure about replacement, but take it in store, they were very helpful

Probably. Take it in and ask. If not, try Rago brothers in New Jersey (USA). They have a mail in service if you’re not local.
