I've wanted a Soho Disco for a while, and with the rumors of it being discontinued, I think I want to bite the bullet. I'm between two colors, a pre-loved pink and a new navy, but I also am trying to save for a trip to Paris in May. Do you guys think that the rumor is strong enough to warrant pulling the trigger? If so, which color would you suggest? I don't have a lot of experience with Gucci, so I don't know about their color transfer for the pink.

Addressing some of the questions. My S Disco is fairly bright and I've managed to wear it all year round with ease. Colour transfer is more dependent on what you wear with a bag than the bag itself (which can be any colour that shows the picked-up dye) which is why dark blue indigo dye from jeans is such a PITA for any cross-body or shoulder bag with a long strap.
Back to choice, from your post I think you may be better off with the navy. It's a lovely shade and suits almost everyone. I also think you will enjoy buying it new for your first experience with Gucci. The best of luck!

Agree with PT - the navy might be a better colour for you especially if you are worry about colour transfer. Both are lovely but you may get more wear with the navy.
Dark denim and dark leather jackets and gloves are definitely something to consider if you wear light color leather or patent leather bags. Otherwise I wouldn't worry. Pink disco is definitely not prone to catch color transfer.
If you already have many black bags why don't you get something with pop of color? Navy doesn't add that much variety. Of course if you live in dark denim and/ or leather clothes you may not be comfortable with lighter color bag. Good luck deciding!

I just got myself a rose beige. I had to call 4 places to get one. Some SA is telling me they can get more some say it's gonna be discontinue. I didn't want to take a chance on not getting one so I went and got one.
OMG WHAT. sorry...insane. I just bought mine in the rose beige recently..and am obsessed. I did a lot of extensive research on the bag/Gucci before going into the store to look (bought it right away as soon as I felt it).
tidbits: I have not experienced any color transfer and from what I've read/felt, quality of Gucci leather is better than some of the other even more expensive bags. It's also v. easy to clean as i had some minor stain in the interior but easily came out with water and soap
