Socialites and their Hermes

You know, I could knock the first woman in Birkin101's photo for her short skirt, but dang, if I had legs that looked that great I'd wear really short skirts too (that is, if DH would let me). Makes me want to go out and buy those beautiful H sandals!
 I literally thought, well if she's can wear that micro mini and not worry about her thighs so can I!

Gorgeous, she reminds me of Talitha Getty in Morocco
I love her bag!!:tup:Her hair...is a...bit...too high.
The higher the better! ;)

I'd forgotten about the fiasco with Pepe Fanjul. My point of view is based on a personal experience with her.
Fair enough.
But it is unfortunate when one is active in society that these things make such public headlines. It is impossible to know what really happened and the pain that may have been involved.
That said she looks lovely in her Hermes and as a woman of a certain age she is beautiful and living a passionate life, regards of the fun the tabloids have had at her expense.
Had my mother been more "public" I can only imagine what the press would have done with her.
Ingrid Bergman and others had paid dearly for this sort of thing. Who are we to say?

Interesting. Don't know her in person but fascinated by her story. Frankly she sounds like my mother. Looks like her, too. Maybe because of that I find women like this so very interesting. Looking forward to the day she writes her book.

I think I would have liked to meet TT's mother. She sounds like fun! I believe that given time and money we can all look fabulous but to be scandalously fabulous - well, all the time and money isn't going to buy that spirit. I am convent educated so the nearest I get to scandal is eating yogurt that has passed it's sell by date!
