My SA has placed a SO for me but she has not yet got a confirmation from Paris that the order has been accepted or rejected. She said that she isn't worried as it usually takes some time but I am! Does anyone know how long time it normally takes for Paris to confirm/reject an order?

Haven't gotten confirmation yet, either. Maybe they gather all the orders together first, go through them or whatever they do to check them, and then confirm (or reject)? Last year I made the order in Paris in April, when the order lists were almost "full" and got confirmation exactly 1 month later. So if they are not taking orders anymore, lists are full and the news are probably a bit nearer

well i got my "confirmation" last week. 
while the combination for my bag IS possible, they won't be making SO 40's this season, so my bag order is with them, it's just being put on hold until next season, Fall 2010.
So you'll have to wait if it's a 40. Butttt, if not, then maybe your order is getting made this season!
i was also told they were only able to take a quarter of the orders they got.

Thanks for your replies! It's awful if they only accepted a quarter of the orders they got. Does this mean that the remaining 75% are "first in line" next time they will accept SOs?
I placed my order with my SA in August but I don't know when she forwarded it to Paris. Hopefully there is still hope for me as I didn't order a 40 cm Birkin but I am still nervous...

yes, i believe that the other 75% become first in line next time around.
If the order is accepted it could take anywhere from 6 months to 3 years. It's really all a toss up and i think it has to do a little with the store? I think that the bigger stores perhaps get their orders filled a little faster.
My SA told me that my particular combo should've only taken a season, as one of her other clients got the exact same combo (but in a 35) and it came in 6 months. So idk what to really tell you! I was hoping for 6 months, and now it was pushed back to 12! hahaha.
