SO BLACK OWNERS: how are your bags holding up?

I only have a Jumbo Flap in black caviar with SHW. I've only used it a handful of times cause I don't use a bag everyday because of work. But I love it when I use it. It's currently out for repair because one of the gusset stitch began to unravel (SA said it's common on the double flap with use, but it was kinda loose when I first got it). It was free of charge! (And I got in 2016!). It's going to be out 8-10 weeks, currently 1 week out. I'm going to starting using it more when it comes back!!!

This thread is discussing black hardware, not black bags. I’m curious, When using your jumbo, did you ever slip anything into the cavity where the gusset stitch is? I’ve heard that can cause the stitch to pop. I hope the time of the repair goes quickly, I usually really miss a bag/slg while I’m waiting for it to come back.

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but do any seasoned Chanel buyers know if they always release a Classic Flap in the So Black every season?

Thank you so much for answering! I really want to purchase my first Chanel and I definitely want a So Black Classic Flap. I'm just not sure I like the shiny, crumpled calfskin from this season. I hope Chanel will release something similar to the caviar on the So Black Coco Handle.
