So Black Boy Bag Still Being Manufactured?

I have been on the hunt for one for a long time and while i know I could get one used from online consignment stores, i was hoping to buy one new directly from the store since i like the experience of buying it in person :) does anyone know if they are still making them? I know they are seasonal and not made every year but i feel like the last time I saw one was maybe in 2018....

So Black is a seasonal item, they get released every few seasons and it rotates between the classic flap line, reissue, boy, etc. etc. Technically they aren't being manufactured now (last season there was a so black reissue), but it might make a return in the future.

That being said, Boy Bags are kinda not super hot anymore (especially since in recent years they've been focused on the Gabrielle and the 19), so I'm not sure if Chanel would re-release the so black in the boy. You never know though, you just have to wait and see.

ahh thanks for this info! I have been out of the bag world for awhile after having my second child and didn’t realize boy bags fell out of favor since then!I did see that the focus has been on reissue and the coco handle lately, but my heart of hearts is still stuck on the boy bag from 2-3 years ago

I’m a huge fan of the So Black as well! I snatched the boy from 17S. I’ve learnt to never wait with Chanel. Just buy it during the season :doh:. So no, currently it’s not being produced. BUT really no one can predict when your exact combo will come back. It can take years to decades :P.

I’ve been waiting for a So Black Coco Handle Caviar quilted... and it FINALLY appeared last season :biggrin::biggrin:. Waited 3-4 years for that! (N multiple price increases in between sigh)
