SO and PO question

My SA was sweet enough to offer me to sit down with the store manager to SO a bag in July. My question is why can I PO it? is there a quota for PO?

thanks! i asked her specifically if it's a PO and she said SO which I thought was odd. She told me she wasn't really sure of the difference. She might of meant PO then 
your clarification certainly helped b'c I was looking for a bag that's already existing and isn't that difficult to come by.

catabie, it is easy to get the two confused. I think some SA's use the terms interchangeably. My SA used the term special order as well when we sat down to decide on my turquoise birkin. The order was placed at the July podium, but she and the manager labeled it as a special order. Go figure.
