Sniping service - Who do you use?

I am trying auctionsniper.com right now for the first time. You get 3 free snipes and then after that they charge 1% of the final selling price, with a max charge of $9.95. I'll see how it works, then probably look for one that is totally free. I just lost an auction to someone using an auction sniper, and I am so MAD!!!!

yeah i use auctionsniper too but beware - one time I used it to be on the safe side and they didn't place any bid on my item as they were down for scheduled maintenance - no warning beforehand so I could make alternative arrangements! just check and double check if it's something you really want as it's the worst thing when you miss out!

Ok, so the next question is... What is a good lead time to set it at? I've got one auction right now that I've got set at 3 seconds. Is that too little?

I've used gixen.com a few times and it works great. Its free and easy to use.

I wish I had used a sniping service. I lost an auction for a bag I really wanted because I messed up the time. I thought the auction ended at 10:42:15 but I screwed up the numbers. When I logged onto the computer at 10:30, I saw that the auction had ended at 10:15:42. :shame:
