I was wondering if anyone else had this issue with the MG tumbled leather? I have the black tumbled mini mini bucket that I think is adorable but despite having it for a few months already I haven't used it because the smell has not subsided since I got it. I mean it smells like leather I suppose but... very strongly and a little weird. I've seen this mentioned in a few threads but haven't found anyone following up yet.

Thoughts?

One of the first bags I bought was a tumbled. It smelled so horribly I promptly returned it. It smelled nothing of leather to me and smelled of chemicals. I was shocked and it was a total turn off and disappointment.

Thanks for the reply, msbuffy. I probably should have returned mine as well.

It's been cooped up in a dustbag but I'm thinking I have to take it out and at least try to find a solution. My first attempt will be to clean the leather then air it out outside.

My tumbled bucket is the same and I thought I got a bad bag cuz the smell was so overpowering (it stinks actually!) I should've returned it the, oh well. Anyway I let it air out for about a month and it's much better now. At least now when I get in the car, I don't smell it and neither does my husband, he complained of the smell the first couple times I used it. So definitely take it out of the dustbag and let it air out. I just hung mine on a chair inside the house.
