Smells/Scents you can't stand...

I find it interesting that everyone has different preferences, so lets share scents or smells that you cannot stand.


I don't like the smell of:

cheap air fresheners

fake leather

Oranges (fruit or the cleaners)

store bought mexican food

Smelly feet (a common scent at my gym)

Suave shampoo

Gas (like when you fill up your car)

Axe - men's cologne spray

Cigars

Your turn!

Ooooooh! I love the smell of gas at the gas station!! Ha, ha! Certain perfumes will have me running in the opposite direction holding my nose, like: Este Lauder Youth Dew, Giorgio, Opium and Shalimar. And I used to love Shalimar many many years ago. The smell of cigarette smoke nauseates me. Just added Cigar smoke to the list, too. Smells like burning wet dog turds.

Cheap smelling and strong mens' cologne
Moth balls
Cigars
stinky feet!
someone with BO! especially when they have on perfume to try to conceal it.

Call me crazy but I love the smell of gasoline, lol.

Besides the obvious bad BO, breath, etc, I also don't like

Cigar/cigarette smoke
Cinnamon (air fresheners, candles, etc)
Moth Balls
All Chanel fragrances :yucky:
Heavy floral scents
Lush (the store)- Just walking past it makes me nauseous.
Cheap leather

I'm sure I'm missing a few things but that's all I can think of right now.

Those teen body sprays (especially the ones smelling like gummi bears or cotton candy)

Speaking of body sprays, the Victoria's Secret ones. (A little is okay, but in my experience working in the Juniors department, it seemed like the girls bathed in it.)


Carnations. (Again, the smell of one is nice. But you put a lot of them together . . . like in a funeral wreath, or something . . . it comes off as more of stench than a smell.)


I'll think of more, but those are the ones that just popped into my head.

Gasoline.
Permanent marker.
Dog breath.
Cat breath.
Moth balls.
Cheese.
Public bathroom.
Too much perfume.
Body odor.
Bad breath.
Armpits.
Stinky feet.
Garbage.
Bad breath.
Morning breath.
Musky old lady perfume.
Hairspray.
Cigarettes.
Anything smelly that exits your butt.

I'm sure I'll think of more later..
