Smart Phone Folio Wallet vs Traditional Wallet

I have been looking a lot to consolidate for the summer. My needs change as the year goes forward. I have always been on the hunt for good wallets. Recently I downsized and now have a card case for 6 cards. Then I started thinking about a folio case for my iPhone. I never leave without it. Why not get a folio case? I started to wonder traditional wallets or a folio tech case? Are we starting to downsize? Can we ditch the wallet and just carry our phones and a few cards? Is this reasonable? One does wonder.

They're not enough for me. I need my cards, ID, cash, change, stuff receipts in my wallet, business cards that I collect throughout the week, and anything else that fits and I "think" is important at the moment.

Nah, I can't get rid of my wallets.

I can't get rid of a wallet either. But I also don't want my phone near my credit cards like that.
