Do you think that smaller face watches make your wrists look bigger? Also, do you think smaller face watches are more of an "older" woman look and bigger watches are more youthful? I think that when models have big bracelets and watches on, their wrists and arms look thin. But they are probably so thin to begin with anyway. I was just wondering if different sizes may be flattering to people just as different colors may be more flattering on different skin tones.

I think this is a personal preference question, I like the look of larger face watches; however, my largest is my 33mm J12. I have the Hermes Medor (which is very slim) and this technomarine I am wearing today (28mm).

I don't think they look old ladyish at all - I doubt the Medor could even if it tried...lol.

I really love big watches....but you know a smaller watch is not necessarily for "ladies of a certain age. A lot depends on your personal style and actually the size of your wrist and your frame. Tiny watches do not look good on very large women, because it is out of proportion. (When I mean large, I am not talking average large, but very, very large we are talking like 24 plus in US sizes). Now a smaller watch is classic and appropriate for certain occasions. I happen to have both large and small sizes and wear "mid-size" mens.

I prefer mid/large sized watches because it looks much better with my frame. I would probably consider a smaller watch/ bracelet watch for more formal occasions but since i don't go out nowadays - I stick to big watches =)

The watches i have are medium (Roadster) to J12 (large). i'll probably get a smaller face watch in the future, cos it looks a bit dressier  e.g., Cartier Tank.

I just recently purchased a Black 33 J12 w/ no dia markers. I'm second-guessing my decision......even though I know that it will cost me over an additional $1k, I need to decide should I return the original and get the other????? Would love to hear opinions.

PS I love the smaller 33 size, the 38 looked silly on me.
