Small Wallets

Hi your link just brings me to the Macy's site lol. Was there a particular wallet you had in mind?
Most small wallets will tend to get bulky depending on what stuff you put in it. Unless of course you get a long wallet.
Right now I carry 3 wallets in my bag lol. I have a separate wallet for my license, a flap wallet for cards and a wallet for change/money lol.

This depends how much you're going to put in your wallet?? I have a LV French wallet I use in smaller bags. It's not tiny but smaller than ull size. It has 2 sections for cards that face each other when closed & if I use both sides it makes it more bulky which annoys me. They used to only have the slots on 1 side. I see why they added more but it does add bulk so I only use one side of card slots.

For most days I use a bigger full size wallet in my work bags. I have room for everything including receipts etc in there so they don't get thrown around in my bag.

And then I have a couple cles & card cases that I'll use instead of a wallet for even smaller bags (think night out clutch size).

Is it going to be an everyday wallet? Is the Edie going to be an everyday bag?

Thanks for your replies!

Goodness, Johnpauliegal! Three wallets sounds like a lot, even for a bigger bag. :D Sorry about the link. In the wallet proper I'll have my driver's license, auto and medical insurance cards, my debit card, my Target RedCard (because I go to Target about fifteen times a week... >.>), and if I know I'm going somewhere and need a particular card (IKEA, for example, or a particular store whose credit card I carry) I'll throw that in there as well. I normally don't carry cash (I work at a credit union and am around it all day, haha!) but I do keep receipts until an item has cleared my bank account, so those can kind of add up if I forget to take them out.

kbell, I'm waffling on an accordion-style (full-size) wallet. I don't know that I'll keep enough in there to where it feels "worth it", but it also would have plenty of room if I *wanted* to keep a bunch in there, y'know? I don't know if I could ever carry a card case except maybe on a night out, as you mentioned. The Edie will probably double as an everyday and work bag.

I used to use smaller wallets a lot but ever since going to the bigger wallet years ago I like it! I have my license, insurance, credit, debit, rewards cards, change, cash, receipts, ATM slips etc all readily avail with room to spare & it's just so easy to get anything in & out of it but I'm very particular about the set up. I hate zip arounds.

If you only usually have 5-6 cards and no cash you'd probably be fine with a smaller one. Or maybe you could find a great sale price & try a full size for little expense. Good luck!

I used to carry accordion wallets but now I use the soft wallet, which is still a long wallet but is slimmer, and holds nearly as much. It is so much easier getting in and out of a long wallet, since you don't have to unfold it. One of the things I loved about accordion wallets was that I could pull out whatever I needed, cash or a card, without removing the wallet from my bag. I never zipped it up. I can still pull things out of the soft wallet easily too but I have to open the flap.

My favorite accessory is a card case. Mine has an ID window and several card slots. I love that it fits in one of the slip pockets of my purse so it is always easy to find. It holds my license, health care card, and the cards I use most often. Mine is MFF from a few years ago. They don't make a FP card case that is as functional IMO. I love my PacMan card case because it has 9 pockets and is still really small, but I wish it had an ID window. My long wallet has my cash and the cards I don't use very often.
