Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a small wallet, either foldable or zip that opens flat, and I want something that will stay elegant and nice even after constant use for half a decade. As for designs, I love the Lady Dior cannage, but that's the only one I think is really pretty. Otherwise, I favor the very plain, understated classic designs, like Mulberry, or Givenchy, or Prada. Any price point is good, as long as it's hard wearing.

Would love/reviews and recommendations as to what brands have really good quality and little wear and tear even after 3-5 years of constant use.

I think that LV wallets wear like iron. Either the canvas or epi. I had them and sold them, but because I wanted something different -- they still looked new.

Having just recently made the splurge, I think LV Empreinte Cles is an amazing mini wallet - I gave up my larger wallet and key pouch for it. The Cles now houses my housekey, around 10 cards plus cash which lives in the zippered pocket at the back. I got it preloved from its second owner - makes me the third - and it still looks like new.
For a lower price point, Longchamp Le Foulonne also wears like iron and is really practical.

Of course I forgot to mention the one I really wanted to praise that will suit your needs; LV Compact Curieuse. It's gorgeous in the Empreinte leather and can hold alot for its size. Snap closure, opens flat.

This is the one I have and came in to post. I bought it in 2013 and have been using it exclusively since, no signs of wear whatsoever. Still looks new, I am impressed by how well it's held up.
It's a dark navy almost black so I would think while a lighter colour would still hold up, I'm not sure if you'd see dirt or wear on it more so than a darker one.

Year two:

Year five -
Exterior - a few small dents from keys

This wallet went through standard use, it wasn't babied or trashed and based on wear and tear, I bought the long version too.
