Small Stam - metal hardware on strap issue.

I finally acquired a stam after almost 20 years of wanting one. It's a small stam with an adjustable strap that has metal clips at the end. The metal clips grab my hair and it gets stuck when I use it crossbody.



Does anyone have a hack or fix I can do to stop this that doesn't look super noticable?

Can you use a ring snuggie on the open section where your hair is getting caught?? There are different sizes and types, but any you use will be practically invisible (clear silicone) and will close the gap so your hair can't get trapped in there.
