I did some research and saw ppl mentioning the click sound. I want to ask how you deal with it now?

I wore my plain small love bracelet 24/7 for 4 years and did not have a problem of click sound.

I bought the pave small love 2 months ago and I started to hear it after 1 month 24/7 wearing. At the beginning I just heard it in the morning sometimes. Then I figured out how it happens. If it stays at the 1/3 of my forearm (farthest it can go) for a while and I moved it to the wrist area, I can hear the click sound when push two sides to close. So it got “expanded” a little and closed with

the click sound is kind of loud and I’m wondering if it will get worse. My plain version has no issues at all. Is pave too soft with less metal and more spaces for diamonds?

Can Cartier repair it? For a $30k item, I didn’t expect it to happen at all especially after wearing my plain one for 4 years without any problem.

please share your experience with boutique on it. Appreciate any help.

btw, how to upload video?

I tried to pull on my plain love, it can have the similar sound as well but the gap is 1/2 smaller and it won’t expanded on it’s own by wearing it.

I heard mine on the first day of wearing. Mine is the SM love with six diamonds. A bit annoying. Luckily it didn’t have other issues like falling off. Have been wearing it for one year.

I have a plain love and brought it into a couple stores for an assessment and both said it was normal. My BIL has the same one and it's even worse and you can even see a gap in the closure. To be honest, now I just stop fidgeting or paying attention to it and it's stopped bothering me

I really want to upgrade to the pave version and 100% agree with you that at that price point, I want to be careful there is nothing that would bother me

as time flies, it expanded more frequent. I hear the click sound more over time. So I called the customer service last week and the rep said he would send me a mail with a label inside to be sent to their repair department to check if it's defective or repairable. I'll update once I hear anything from them. I asked if I can just send it back to any boutique but he mentioned that by doing so they have to ship it to them also.

the rep did not ask me much about the issue. sounds like he heard about that issue a lot (at least not the first time).

Hello! I have the same issue as you with the small gap and the clicking. Looks like you’ve had the bracelet for at least a year now. How has it been holding up? Do you still wear it 24-7 and feel it is secure? I’m scared that one day I’m going to look down and the bracelet is gone.

Reviving this thread, I got my SM Pave Love in YG in January this year, and the clicking noise is driving me craaazy!

Plus, similar to OP, the bracelet seems to “expand” then “click” back into place (with a stronger kind of click than the regular clicking throughout the day) when pressure is applied, i.e. if it moves to my wrist bone and I move my hands this kind of movement causes the two sides to slightly pull apart, hence the “expansion” and then they click back together when the bracelet moves back to my forearm.

I can see most of the responses saying this is normal and expected. The day I purchased it, I briefly mentioned to the SA that I had read that some pave bracelets have a clicking sound, and she said that was normal as well, she didn’t mention that it could be a sign of defect. I used to have a plain WG SM Love and never had an issues with clicking or expansion at all! It was extremely secure and I wore it 24/7 for years with no problems. But that was purchased many years ago and Im not sure whether they changed the mechanism on the SM model or if a solid/plain bracelet is sturdier than a pave.

With this one, I’m terrified it would suddenly become too loose and fall off 😖 I’m constantly checking on it.

Hoping to hear from others and OP if it got any worse with time?

Hi! Not OP, but my RG small pave clicks if I pull to expand it if that makes sense - it doesn't otherwise. It has done this since day one when my husband bought it for me. I wear it 24/7, no exception, and have zero issues. My WG small pave love, on the other hand, that I bought two years prior, has never clicked. I would say yes this is normal, but not universal. My SA agreed with this when asked.
