Hi everyone,
I would love the thoughts of the fashionable people on this board who love VCA. I am debating between two necklaces and would love opinions.

Currently deciding between the small frivole necklace in pave white gold and a pave vintage alhambra pendant. Which would you pick? And of the vintage alhambra pendants which color?

I was able to try on two at the store, but they only had the Alhambra pendant in yellow gold. I had initially thought of getting rose gold but liked the yellow gold and wasn't able to compare. I tried holding up part of a bracelet to see the rose gold next to my skin but it didn't really work.

I would love opinions! They are so different that I'm really unsure

I prefer yellow gold on your colouring, if you don't mind me saying. Frivole also comes in rg and yg with diamonds. That being said, they are both darling. It will depend on your style as frivolve is less identifyable and more feminine whereas the Alhambra is more associated with VCA and is more universal in the nature of its design. Personally, I think the Frivole is a bit more unique and the way the diamonds are set it reflects light better than the Alhambra which has the diamonds laid flat.

At first I thought the frivole, for similar reasons as @glamourbag — more feminine and does look lovely on you. But if you are looking to have one pendant that you wear all the time, I may suggest the Alhambra as it can go casual or more dressy depending on your outfit (and of course it looks very nice on you too).
Looking forward to seeing what you decide on — really can’t actually go “wrong” either way!

Thank you. Agree that they are both beautiful and that the frivole is maybe more unique. Wish I could buy both:)

Thank you. You're right that the Alhambra is probably more versatile. Any experience with RG vs YG or WG in pave alhambra pendants? So frustrating that the stores have little inventory and you can't try on everything you'd like to see.

I'm a bit biased. I am not a fan of the Frivole, but that's probably because I'm not the most feminine or floral person lol. :P
I personally find the Alhambra a little more versatile due to its simplicity.
Though I appreciate the setting of the diamonds on the Frivole, it looks more full and complete.

Also, yes, I think rose gold suites you the best!

Regardless, they are all beautiful. Good luck!

Thank you! I'm hearing more votes for the VA pave:) It does sound like the more versatile piece.

That's really helpful to know - thank you! I love rose gold. I hope I don't get bored of it because that is what I've been buying lately!
Nah, if you love the look of RG on your skin tone you will always love it. I love YG too but I find RG softer. I know many people see RG to be trendy but I am certainly not trendy. To me all three tones of gold - white, yellow and rose - are as classic as it gets!
Btw, here’s a pic I took the other day for a couple of girls friends who wanted to see the Frivole and VA pendants stacked.
I have a feeling you might be my twin on both down the lane :hbeat:8DE61D75-F61D-46FC-B215-4C7D10AF46BD.jpeg

Omg beautiful!!! The necklaces actually look great stacked and I wouldn't have thought to stack them. Are your perlee bracelets RG too? I think I may have to start saving big-time:)
