Hello! another size question! I’m looking at buying a preloved city in either the small or the mini. I have seen the mini and first in person but not the small. The mini is soooo cute but it just fits all my stuff and the first was a bit too big so I feel like the small might be just right. Does anyone have both and prefer one over the other? I’m looking for something durable and light for travelling. TIA!

Well, it depends on what you need to carry. You mention the First, which is not a City. If the First is too big, the Small City is bigger than that in capacity (because of its depth relative to the First). To me it's the perfect travel bag, light and roomy enough while still being a small to med. size bag. I don't get on with something as small as the Mini because I carry a sizable glasses case that's non-negotiable, though I have a tiny wallet, and I hate having to Tetris things to fit. The Mini is very limiting.

The City Small is slightly bigger than a First but the size is super comparable. The City has a longer strap which is definitely better for travel, imo. But you can always swap out a strap on a first.

Thank you! I had thought the small would be smaller than the first but I didn’t take into account the depth. Will have to rethink, I first and small city definitely have the capacity I need and a crossbody strap is a must.

I'd opt for a small. In the mini you can carry only your card, and the rest you need to carry in your pockets and arms. So, I opt for something where you can put more stuff, like your phone.
I ended up getting the mini, I realized I have a lot of bags the same size as the small so I opted for something different.
