the friends & family thing is common.
I work for part of the company. Not the Marc Jacobs part, another part. MJ is part of a huge corp. of which I work for.
You need to be an employee to be part of the sale. (or a family member, but it must be bought THROUGH the employee)
This is a normal Mothers Day/ Spring occurance.

IMO, what distinguishes MJ from the others is his choice in colors. Cherry Blossom has to be one of my all-time favorites. I have a ZC in this color, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.
