Has anyone ever had their small love hinge come out of the bracelet? My mom went to bed and woke up the next day with her bracelet just on the bed still screwed closed. She doesn’t stack bracelets or wear a watch or anything. I just bought it for her 5 months ago. I could see it happening if she got the bracelet caught on something but she was sleeping and it just fell off. I didn’t believe her until I saw the bracelet. I thought maybe it came unscrewed but It looks like the hinge just came out of the other side. I tried to take pictures but it’s hard to focus on the hinge with the camera.

I haven’t seen this before. I would recommend that you take it back to Cartier right away, especially since the bracelet is still relatively new. I got my small love last October and I haven’t had any issues with it and I wear it 24/7. Hope you get it resolved quickly.

thank you. I don’t live anywhere close to a store. all of them are 5 or more hours away so I texted my sales associate I bought from and he was like wow and he told me to call the store and speak to the service department because I’ll have to have them send it to New York. My mom has worn it since the day I bought it. Never had an issue. It is the strangest thing how it fell off like that.

I know someone who recently had their Cartier watch serviced. They got a prepaid envelope and shipped out their watch for the servicing and when it was done they shipped it back. She said the process was very smooth. Hopefully you will have a similar experience and they can fix or replace your mom’s love.

I’ve had my SM love for over 3 years and never had a problem with the hinge. Only issue I’ve had is my hair sometimes getting caught in between the hinge when my wrist is leaning on it in my sleep. Solved this by turning the bracelet around.
