Hi. I have the ones you reference and they are heavy but still comfortable if that makes sense. I have small lobes so I wear them just once in awhile. Definitely not an everyday earring for me but they are beautiful and do not regret getting them. I had Cartier adjust the distance between the back of the earrings ever so slightly for added comfort. Before buying them I didn’t know this was possible so I thought I’d share that.)
For everyday, I find the smaller ones (pic here) very comfortable and I wear them 24/7. I have them in white gold and like them so much I plan to get the yellow as well. They don’t make the statement the others do, if that’s what you’re after.. let us know what you decide!

Please share what you decided! I’m eyeing the same earrings but also concern about the weight. Tried on in the store and it turned by ear lobes red.

I have the small ones cat fondler referenced and it’s very comfy. I wore mine for a week or two straight and didn’t notice them! Not as statement but definitely easier to wear. To reference I have small lobes
I have the rose gold version on my wish list! They are perfect for daily wear.
I have both of the hoops above. The larger ones are heavy and I only wear them on special occasions. I could never see me wearing to work. Plus they feel a bit matchy matchy with my love bracelet…
The smaller ones have thicker posts so they hurt my ears when I haven’t worn earrings for a bit. But, if I wear them consistently they are very comfy. Backings are a bit of a pain on them. I think the smaller ones are much better for everyday. I wear them a lot more.

Just share a method I use when wearing love earrings with thicker posts: dip some almond oil using cotton tips and tap it on the posts. Then smooth and no pain any more when putting on and wearing them
