Small love bracelet hinge side gap

I just purchased a small love and am wondering if this gap on the hinge side is normal?

I have the small thin pave love. I just opened it, and there's no gap on the hinge side when opened or closed.

I don’t have the small version. But I could have sworn I saw people talking about this a while ago. They concluded it was normal. I’m not sure if it was a separate thread for this topic or the thread about the small love bracelet in general tho.

I just received the bracelet today and mine looks like the picture too! I was just about to search for this or ask this somewhere here and I am glad I found the thread here. I think maybe because it has to open backwards when opening it needs more space... I actually accidentally try to open it from the hinge side since I was too excited. I was so afraid that I damaged it and made the gap myself!

The gap on the screw side on mine is very minimal, and smaller than the gap on the hinge side.

Does it click when you push on both sides of bracelet? I’m nervous the gap is smaller than hinge side, but still comes apart enough to be pushed back together and can sometimes line up slightly off

Yes, it does click ever so slightly (more of a feel than a sound), but mine stays aligned. The gap on the non-hinge side is extremely minimal. If you are near a boutique maybe you could have it looked at.

Hi everyone,
I just picked up my first love bracelet and I’m so excited. When I put it on at home for the first time I noticed the “back” of the bracelet - opposite side of where it’s closing - looking a bit loose?
Is this normal so that it can open up? I feel like the “space” is a bit too big?
