Small GG Marmont Camera Bag w/ Strap

What bag would YOU recommend for a Gucci noob? My heart is pulling me toward the Marmont line.

I am biased because I do not like the marmont line. Depends what size bag you need/like, what’s the bag for everyday? How to do you like to wear your bags? Color? Leather? Canvas? Your best bet is to go try on and put your things in it.

Like @snibor, I do not care for the Marmont line. If I was about to purchase my first Gucci bag, I would certainly choose something from the Ophidia collection or from Gucci 1955.

If you want a a Marmont go for it. Whether flap or a camera style they're fairly classic (I prefer the camera).

Personality, I'd go for the 1955 or Dionysus med but that's just me

I agree...the 1955 has the classic, vintage vibe that made Gucci famous. Of course I'm a sucker for anything with a horse bit!

I'm not too crazy about the Marmont line. I like a simple Gucci Soho Disco bag.

I prefer the Marmont line - though Ophedia was my gateway drug back in the mid-80's. I love the feel of the Marmont leather and the quilting. A black Marmont will definitely be my next bag so I'm sure I'm biased.
