What are some of your small (or large) everyday luxuries that you like to spend money on?
If you don’t, what are your reasons?
Any recommendations for brands, savings please do share

My everyday luxury
1. Flowers from the supermarket (£5-£10) every week or 2 weeks
2. Candles - I always buy mine from Aldi (£4) every few weeks or month (they don’t always have stock), they are similar to Jo Malone ones
3. Coffee shop lattes - used to be daily (£3-£4) until lockdown. Now I never get one, but I do suspect I will return to my daily purchase once I start going back to the office.
4. Monthly takeaway food - both before and during lockdown i would get takeaway food once a month (varies £15-40 per person). I doubt I will change this habit this year.

I've never spent money on regular manicures or blowdry unless for a special occasion. Iam currently contemplating getting at home gel nail set from Amazon.

For #1 and 2 I will never spend more then these amounts. Whilst I appreciate these small luxuries I just don't understand spending more, and getting higher end brands such as Diptique or Jo Malone candles (I've never had these so can't speak on the quality factor).
#4 doesn't include restaurants, etc which I suspect will slowly return as life returns to new normal.

I didn't include makeup or skincare in this as I do consider these minimum necessaries.

What are some of your everyday luxuries?

1. Books (often Kindle version/thrift store/used ones online)
2. Skin care products/cosmetics - not always expensive ones, as long as they are not perfumed and have the ingredients I am looking for.
3. Good, freshly roasted coffee from small roasters (current favorite: Wahoo Coffee Company) - unfortunately once you sample coffee from them, you just can't go back to supermarket blends.

I love my bi-weekly Manicure & to eat for lunch (at work) whatever I am fancy to (e.g. salads from a delicatessen shop). Also, I go to an Equinox-type gym as well as some more expensive pay-as-you-go classes .
How could I forget! My weekly cleaning lady!! :)

Definitely getting my hair done (every 6 weeks for cut and colour) and nails (every three weeks). At the supermarket, it's sometimes choosing to do the food shop at M&S or Waitrose rather than Tesco (they're both a little further than Tesco, but worth it for the selection) that feels like a little luxury that I treat myself to. I treated myself to a Dyson AirWrap at the start of lockdown too, so that feels like a luxury that I get to enjoy everyday.

I also indulge in a takeaway maybe once every two weeks.

This sounds fun. My everyday luxuries:
  1. Candles/room fragrance: I splurge a bit on candles, so my go-to are Voluspa and Glasshouse. I'll consider spending on Diptyque or Byredo but I often talk myself down from the purchase. Most expensive purchase so far would be Carriere Freres but I had made the purchase with a birthday voucher. Nevertheless, my tiny Diptyque candle (gift) was perhaps my favourite to light up and I can see why people would splurge. I've kept the jar so it holds things now. I go through 1-3 candles in a year because it's not everyday I'll light it up, but I know I can always set a mood.
  2. Coffee and Tea: I seldom buy barista coffee, but I do enjoy a good roast to make my own coffee with, or the occasional treat of a fine tea either from Mariage Freres, Harney & Sons or T2 (my go-to... basically dessert tea). I'm not so much a connoisseur of coffee, so I'm happy with supermarket blends, but I may treat myself to specialty roasts on the occasion. In all honesty, having a selection of fine teas beats lining up for a sugary tea from Starbucks (the only drink I'll buy from there), and I like experimenting with my coffee and plant milks.
  3. Gourmet food items: The occasional sourdough loaf from a bakery, local honey or olive oil, fancy salt... they make cooking exciting for me.
  4. Fresh seasonal produce: I love it when my favourite fruit and veg come back in season.
  5. Subscriptions: Spotify and Netflix. Totally not necessary but I like having forms of entertainment in my own time.

High quality skin care and hair care products.
My Dyson hair dryer was so expensive it feels like a luxury, but I adore it and use it daily - so definitely getting my money's worth. Got their straightening iron, and my hair has almost grown out enough to use it.
I treat myself to a few of my favorite chocolates (Lindor truffles or Ghirardelli chocolate/caramel squares) every day.
Take away food sometimes.

I can read many of us have the same kind of luxuries.
Mine are tea from Dammann and using Hermès body balm before bed.
Otherwise, as I work in a well-off area, I enjoy having sometimes lunch in a restaurant instead of our canteen.
The biggest everyday luxury remains using... well... my luxury products: enjoying heavy jewelry, comfortable and classy high heels, smooth and warm shawls etc.
That's what they're for, after all :-D
