Small City messengerbag. Which one?

A small men's city messengerbag for small stuff such as wallet, phone, Keys, passport, tickets etc. Which one do you prefer? The flat bag with zipper, or the one with flap? I suppose the flat bag is more safe (robbery) because of the zipper

I prefer the flat with zipper. Yes, it's more safe to carry.
