I purchased my SM Love bracelet in May of this year. A week after owning it, I looked down and noticed it popped apart enough to have a very visible gap. I kept having to occasionally pop it back together.

I spoke to my SA regarding this and she recommended I send it in to be repaired. It was there longer than I had owned it! I got it back about a month later in mid June.

Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago it started doing it again, It has since happened at least 5 times in those 2 weeks. I messaged my SA again and she said that we can send it in for repair again. Honestly I told her that I think it should be replaced with a new one. I feel very frustrated that this is happening to a brand new bracelet and I should not be having to send a brand new bracelet in for repair for the second time.

Has anybody experienced anything like this?

Is it big on you? If it’s sliding down towards your thumb joint you could be putting strain on the hinge (and popping it open) as you move your hand, if that makes sense.

I’ve worn mine for over a year and it’s never done that. I’ve known a couple people that had issues, but it was their user error and not the bracelet. Since the small doesn’t screw on (just has the lock and unlock position), they weren’t putting it in the lock position, and it was popping off.
So assuming you’re closing/locking it correctly, I would also be concerned and would ask for a new one. Because if it wasn’t fixed the first time it may not be fixed this time. Also, after the first time did they tell you what exactly they fixed on it?

It’s definitely locked right, I never remove it and it was the SA that had put it on me. It isn’t popping off in the sense it’ll fall off but it’s still concerning. The first time they claimed the little lip was slightly bent and they would send it in and have them cut it off and replace that part. These are the photos I initially sent to my SA the first time. A before and after of what it does.

Yea that looks like quite a gap. I looked at mine and the gap is so narrow I can’t even stick a fingernail in it. If they won’t entertain a replacement, hopefully they’ll atleast expedite the repair for you.

It will occasionally have that gap and then when I press them both together it’ll “pop” back into place
