Sooo pretty!!! The mini rectangular never worked out for me because I have a long torso
but this is so awesome!! 
You can make it any length you want, mine is just about 22 inches ..i don’t care about the resale value (although i have the original chain still) and i don’t intend to sell it so i get complete enjoyment from this bag !!Sooo pretty!!! I just received my HG small classic flap! It’s been impossible to find in the US and I need to thank Chanel Customer Service for helping me track it down! He’s comparison shots with my 18B mini
Never thought of lengthening the chain. I have used leather surgeon spa service but didn’t know they can lengthen the chain. So do they replace the chain completely? Is the chain the same quality as the original?
Mine was an extra made by them and then returned the original strap. I hear now they attach material to the existing strap Chanel has to make longer. The leather parts and links are identical and if you wanted to go back to the original length they can remove links and leather so there’s no issues if you ever wanted to re sell. It’s the best thing i did i love it I’d only wear it crossbody or none at all. Good luck
Technically it can, however it depends on your taste. I'm 5'4" and it falls at my belly button crossbody, which is too high for my own personal taste. But, some people like that look..
If you like your bags to sit higher, it can. I’m 5’2 and it hits in an area where I like. I think it depends on how you like your bag sits.
But still a beautiful bag worn on the shoulder nonetheless.

Where did you get the minis in caviar?? I thought they will no longer be made in caviar. So is caviar or lambskin mini better investment?
The caviar mini is definitely a better investment. Since it is not known when they will be sold again, the prices on the resell market are very high. Also they are hard to find for reasonable prices in the combinations like black and gold, or black and silver.
