i've been the proud owner of a ferro sloane since june - bought it at the chicago store and haven't applied anything and certainly don't baby it. it's slouching beautifully, has slight fraying as pictured in the previous pages on sections that don't lie flat but has not worsened despite my frequent use and abuse.
